Editorial

The Centres of European Culture give the opportunity to the  participants of the youth encounters organised, based on the theme of European culture and citizenship, to share a marking and often determining  experience.

Countless are the accounts which inform us of how much the awakening to the knowledge of other cultures , bonds of friendship created and the intensity of these crossed exchanges count for the participants. But the encounters are  moments as precious as they are brief and the bonds made, inevitably, fade away.

Today we propose this newsletter and a discussion forum to allow these bonds between Europeans to perpetuate. Via this letter, news from the Centre and also that of the network will regularly be brought to you, as well as information on the encounters.  As for the forum – something new to the CCE – it is open to you. Bring your ideas and your impressions on the  Europe which is being built today!

Director of the Centre of European Culture
