COMENIUS: WHEN SCHOOL OPENS UP TO EUROPE

The Centre of European Culture puts into place training modules within the framework of the Cominius action from the Socrates program of the European Commission.

Cemenius, what is it and what is it for?

Since 1995 the Comenius action aims to reinforce the European dimension in the educations field mainly by promoting cooperation and mobility between schools.
Comenius pursues several objectives:
Ameliorate the quality of the education and the training of teachers.
Develop basic skills and the teaching of languages
Promote the use of ITC
Ameliorate the teaching of maths and sciences
Develop active citizenship

 

To participate in a Cemenius course, you have to request an application form from the British council or apply online on the British council website where you can download all the documents. For aid and guidance concerning the application do not hesitate to contact your national agency.

Once your application has been accepted theses projects are entirely financed by your national agency, accommodation and transport.
